It also had some issues with grain, which I think had to do with the connection, but could have been something else. I agree with many of the comments that a digital signal is a digital signal when it comes to HDMI/DVI cables, but there is most definitely a difference in cable build quality. I upgraded to a Belkin cable and it was a world of difference. This cable is cheap in price and quality. The HDMI input was not very snug and had some trouble getting a solid connection. The Belkin cable cost more ($23), but the build quality of the cable is worlds apart; I have no issues with the Belkin on all accounts. I don't think it makes sense to spend $80 - $125 on HDMI/DVI cables, but spending $22 - $25 on higher build quality cables is well worth it.
This cable arrived very quick and brand new. It worked as soon as I pluged it in to my PS3 and it's still working 2 years later. I am very pleased with this product. Works very well with my PS3 connected to my computer monitor and I am able to get the full 1080p which looks mind blowing in all PS3 games.
I have had this cable for 2 years I use it to connect my desktop to my TV it works really great it has a vivid picture. Very clear and cripst I mistreat the cable and it still works. This cable has no problems you will not be sorry if you get it.Enjoy.
I ordered this product because I've had great experiences with generic cables. This is no exception. The cable works great and I was easily able to connect my DVI video card on my computer to my HDTV's HDMI port. The only downside is that I had to connect directly to my TV instead of through my A/V receiver because it had a connection issue there, but that wasn't a big deal to me.
I recently purchased a new HD tv. So glad I did not go broke buying one of those over priced cables. After looking around, and reading that these $50 and higher HDMI cables weren't any better then the cheaper ones, I decided to order this cable.
They provided me with component cables. The difference between the component & now was unbelievable. I signed up with my cable company for HD service & received a new box.
I hooked it up today & wow. I found out that my cable company doesn't provide HD boxes with HDMI except for the DVR. It did have DVI though.
The picture on the HD channels is amazing. Only took a minute to hook up & the length was perfect.
